MASH Cinema was born in the winter of 2002 as a platform for young people to showcase their films in Herefordshire.
Later, we hosted screenings of locally produced films alongside international films in various locations. These included pubs, a church, a multi-storey car park and a cattle market. The aim was to show people things they wouldn’t otherwise have access to.
For us, cinema isn’t simply rows of chairs pointing at a screen. It’s about creating an experience which incorporates film, art and music in an informal environment where audiences are exposed to innovative and inspiring content. We enjoy programming diverse screenings for music, film and arts & literature festivals throughout the UK.
